As soon as you adopted your pet and brought him home, you probably gave him a bunch of rubber chew toys and old shoes to play with. We hate to break it to you, but today’s furry friends are a little more savvy than that.
The new trend in making sure your pet feels like part of the family is to create his very own blog. From dogs and cats to snakes and hamsters, owners are creating online diaries for their animals, where they can share snippets from their pet’s perspective. You can use conventional platforms such as Blogger or Tumblr to start one and share photos, videos, “thoughts” and more. There are even social networks for animals such as Catster and Dogster.
It might be a little overboard. Then again, why shouldn’t pets have a voice? After all, they are probably the most observant members of your family, with the most stories to tell! [CNN]
