Exercise at Work
Forget the excuses that you're short on time to work out. You can get in shape during your workday—even at your desk.
Clint Padgett works about 80 hours a week, but he found a way to work out. He hired a personal trainer to come and help him exercise in his office. His trainer helped him squeeze in about an hour's worth of squats, leg extensions, push ups, tricep curls and karate kicks without having to drive to the gym and back after work. They even used his chair and desk as props for the exercises. He says the exercise helps him de-stress and save time.
It would be great to shell out the cash for a personal trainer to visit you at the office, but you can do more than you think at your desk for free. Sure, you might look funny doing leg lunges with your desk chair for support, walking laps around the office for 10 minutes or stretching your legs on your desk but at least you will feel better!
