I should have trained my dog better
I'm sorry now that I didn't make more of an effort to train my dog to walk at my side. He's all over the place when we walk outside.

My two dogs are the same way! They are always trying to run off and attack a squirrel or whatever else catches their eye.
Thankfully, we have a backyard where they can be free--since they are definitely not "leash" dogs. If you don't have a backyard, trying looking for an enclosed dog park in your area to give your dog some freedom...maybe when back on the leash, your dog will be so tired the only option will be to stay right by your side!
