Billboards Calling for Change!

What would you do if you were driving along and saw a tastefully designed billboard that said, 30DaySexChallenge.com? You’d go to web site, of course. And, shockingly, you’d find that a Florida minister is responsible for the billboard and the movement.

In an interview with CNN, Relevant Church head pastor Paul Pastor talks about his attempt to take on the high divorce rates—the 30-Day Sex Challenge. The challenge is simple: Married couples are to purposefully engage in sexual activity for 30 days, and singles are asked to forgo any sexual activity for 30 days. It doesn’t sound so easy. Think about it, have you ever had sex everyday for 30 days straight?

“A great sex life is a challenge and takes focus, determination and planning,” the church’s web site states. “Some say it’s an unrealistic goal, but we disagree. We believe you can have a great sex life, in fact we believe God wants you to have a great sex life.”

The truth is having sex everyday would be a good change for many married couples.. Interested? The web site 30daysexchallenge.com was having server issues earlier—likely due to the overwhelming response—but you can learn about the movement at Relevantchurch.com. I’m not endorsing it, just wanted to point out that churches and ministers are now resorting to big changes to help their congregations.

I am personally going to extend the challenge to any couple—married or not, in a committed relationship, gay or straight. And while you’re at it, check out our Improving Your Sex Life content...we have a few good tips, interviews and stories of our own.
