How To Save A Life

How To Save A Life

Another happy ending story for Tuesday? Could it be? Hopefully we will be able to keep it positive all week! We sure hope so. Today we've got a news story for you about a newborn who saved his fathers life....

Morristown, NJ resident John Seville was working in his garden when he felt his legs go numb, and lost the majority of his vision. After being rushed to the local hospital he flat lined and was given several medications to get his heart beating again. He had to undergo surgery to repair his aorta, but many of his organs were failing, including his brain. Scary huh? Now picture his forty-week pregnant wife, standing by his side.

While her husband couldn't breathe on his own, Connie Seville went into labor and delivered a healthy boy. This is where the story takes a turn for the better; Connie brought their newborn down to see his father, and when the newborn was held up in front of his dad's face, John gave a huge smile.

Surreal isn't it? We love hearing stories about new dads and their little ones, because normally the news is full of mommy and me tidbits. The best part of this story, of course, is that John continued to get better, even losing his paralysis!

Read the story, let us know what you think. Is this baby a miracle working or was this just good timing. [ABC News]
