Mom's Spreading Rumors

Mom's Spreading Rumors

Now that we have your attention, you should know that despite what tabloids want you to think, gossip isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, moms often have tons of great stuff to say about you being a new dad—they just won’t admit it to your face.

Don’t believe us? Well you should, because 58% of 1,000 women surveyed by Parenting magazine say that their husbands deserved more credit than what they give him for helping out with the kids. Hmmph, maybe it’s just their pride, but they do think it!

More good stuff:

50% of women say their husband was most like TV dad Alan Harper (actor Jon Cryer) from “Two and a Half Men.” If you’re not familiar with the show, he’s “a bit nervous about how well he's raising his kid, but very involved.”

77% of women speaking on behalf of themselves and their hubby said they exchange "I love yous" at least once a day.

53% of women say you’re a “softie” and more likely to give into things like extra dessert or ten more minutes at the playground. Aw!

What’s a special compliment that mom has given you? [Parenting]
