Question:GET OUT! i.e., Sex hurts!

Ok, I'm sure the answer to this is that I should see my OB-GYN, but does anyone else still feel like sex is not as physically comfortable as it used to be? Painful even? It could be that I'm still breastfeeding and low in the lube department, but it's been almost six months and... let's just say... things don't fit the way they used to. Thoughts?

Answer:

It took me almost a year but, in addition to breastfeeding (which went to two years), I had a huge episiotomy and forceps. I seriously thought sex was ruined for life! Be patient--it's better now than it ever was!

Answer:

I know exactly what you mean, though I have medical issues behind my "get out". I have had a lot of people tell me it's never the same having "sex" with their man after having a child. I am tending to believe them. It is uncomfortable to say the least.
Maybe the other advice you get will help. Hang in there and know others understand what you are going thru.

Answer:

Yikes! It probably is breastfeeding related. Seeing your OB-GYN sounds like a good idea, though. I guess lots of things aren't the same after baby.
