Being in the moment
I'm always happier when I'm in the present moment, being fully focused as to what I am doing. This is a great way to change the mind talk by shifting to the present.

I try to use this wisdom when I am having a bad day. It really helps to stop and connect with reality.
spiritev,
Thanks for those words. I think I needed to read those at just this moment. I'm having a hard time keeping some bad thoughts out of my mind - and once they start....they're off. But doing what you said, just fully focusing on where I am and what I'm doing at this moment, really helps shut down the "mind talk".
