Pay kindness forward
It's an old study, but new to me. "researchers gave chocolate chip cookies to half the students in the library, then later dropped books on the floor... the people who had been given the cookies were more likely to help those whose books fell"
"it showed that positive events lead to further positive events"
It's like that Liberty Mutual commercial that shows how one person helping another can set off a chain reaction.

Rush hour traffic in the Seattle area, equals if not surpasses rush hour traffic in Los Angeles.
I've observed -- if I let a car in, in front of me (who's been waiting who-knows-how-long), almost every time, the driver behind me will let a car in also, & the one after her, also -- and so forth & so on. AND people seem more patient!!
