Picturing Pregnancy

After the morning sickness has subsided and you have told all your friends and family about your pregnancy, you’ve got another six months or so to wait and watch your body change.

Some women are embracing their new, pregnant bodies by capturing them on film or in body casts to commemorate the time they spend nurturing new lives. As celebrities like Demi Moore and Britney Spears have shown, swollen bellies can be beautiful—and sell magazines (Moore posed for the cover of Vanity Fair, Spears for Harper's Bazaar).

Whether you choose to have a professional photo shoot, do a body cast (there are home kits available) or just have a family member take some candid shots, it can be nice to have a record of this moment in time. Once the baby comes, you’ll be using your camera on another subject! [Time]
