Chowing Down for Two

carolineshannon

Yes, you are now eating for two, but that does not mean you have to load up on chocolate and pickles with ice cream (who really eats that anyway?!).

One of the more important things you can do is to eat well, so you can feel your best and enjoy your pregnancy. Your growing baby (and belly!) gets everything it needs from you, so be sure to make healthy choices, drink lots of water and take your prenatal vitamins.

And make sure it’s enough for both of you. Nature favors your baby—meaning your body will give the baby what it needs first, literally taking it away from you. So, be sure to keep your health in check by making sure your intake meets the total needs of you AND your baby.
