Women Break Up Better

When it comes to coping in the aftermath of a breakup, the gals have it easier, according to Men’s Health.

In a recent survey conducted by the magazine, 26% of men thought the best thing to do after calling it quits was to hit the bar, and 36% said they ended a relationship with a shrug and a smile, masking their true feelings of hurt or anger. Meanwhile, ladies know that the best thing to do is talk it out. They have a network of friends to tap into on the heels of a broken relationship—they vent, cry and move on.

So gentlemen, learn a little something this go-round. You don’t have to get all Hallmark, but call a guy or gal pal and lean a little. We promise that no one will think you’re less macho—and you’ll feel better sooner, which means you can get back out there and find new romance without bringing your baggage along. [Men’s Health]
