I have been seeing a good person for about 2 years. Last week she broke it off. It is complicated because she is a widow so there is a lot of emotion there. I became close with her, her kids, her family, and her late husband's family. The relationship was really good for a long time and I don't know how it went south. We didn't fight, but she said she "needs to work on her."

We work together and people there know that we were together. I am embarrassed that this happened and very hurt because it was a good thing.
