When we were looking, we had a very specific price range in mind, but our realtor kept showing us more expensive homes, and even tried to convince us that we could afford it. Only you know how much you can afford, so stick to your guns. You don't want to get into a situation where you're house poor and struggling to pay the bills. And if your realtor won't listen, then find a new one!
