Pay off your mortgage sooner with this tip from David Bach

ChangeChamp

I just read David Bach's advice and one of his tips makes a lot of sense, if you can do it.

He says to "switch your mortgage to a bi-weekly mortgage payment plan, instead of paying your mortgage once a month, do half every two weeks, and you will shave at least five years off the mortgage, giving you greater flexibility to retire."

Here is the rest of his advice, if you want to read more-

This is very much encouraged in Canada, where families pay off their homes sooner. Of course, they can't write off their mortgage interest either so they have more reason to pay off the home.
