It's Electric!

It looks like a toy, but make no mistake—the battery-powered Think City is meant for driving.

If you’re considering a new car that is also good for the environment, consider the Norwegian Think City, which is already being marketed as a vehicle for the masses.

The Think City is a 100% electric car that will be able to travel up to 110 miles on a single charge, with a top speed of about 65 mph, the company said. It will be priced below $25,000. That’s comparable in price to a Toyota Prius, which is the most popular  hybrid vehicle on the market?

The company says the vehicle, due on the market in 2009, will be assembled in Los Angeles and is 95% recyclable—perfect for the eco-conscious driver! [Los Angeles Times]
