Give, give, all you do is give.
Sending a greeting card to your sick aunt or newly engaged cousin is just the thing. What a thoughtful person you are, making them feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But how fuzzy do you feel handing over 5 bucks a pop? Those cards couldn’t possibly cost more than a dollar to make. Talk about a racket.
You could set up your own greeting card workshop, but an easier alternative is a web site like Goodcausegreetings.com. Order up a bunch of cards from their All Occasion category and keep them on hand for notes, thank-yous or birthdays. The company donates a percentage of its profits to charities. So, while you’re brightening someone’s day (and spending less on your cards), you’re also giving to a good cause. That’s double the warm fuzzies.

What a great idea. I just went to their web site and the cards are really cute.
