It's Easy Being Green
Top o’ the mornin’ to ya—it’s St. Patty’s Day. What’s that? You aren’t Irish? C’mon, don’t be such a stick in the mud. You don’t have to be Irish to celebrate. Dig something green out of your closet, grab a bottle of green food coloring and have at it.
Whip up some green pancakes or waffles for breakfast—kids love ’em. At lunch, try the split-pea soup, a green salad and a big glass of milk. You do have your green food coloring with you. For dinner, corned beef and cabbage is the traditional St. Patty’s Day feast—don’t forget the green beer—but if that’s not your style, make something else and pile on plenty of green vegetables. (This holiday’s getting healthier by the minute.)
Hey, did someone just run by in green tights? You really are getting in the spirit.
