Anything but work.
Bring it on—the bills, the laundry, re-shingling the roof—you’ll do it all. You haven’t had this much energy in weeks. Honey, did you switch my decaf for regular?
No, but you left your briefcase on the roof.
You could have finished it at the office, but no-o-o. You had to drag your work around with you all weekend. Now it still isn’t finished, and you’ve spent the whole weekend procrastinating. (The roof looks great, by the way.)
Whenever you can, leave work at work. Put your nose to the grindstone at the office, where you’re most productive. You’re already in work mode—just get it done already. At the end of the day, make a clean break, come home and enjoy your time off from the pressures of work.
At least until you need to get some other major project done around the house.
Being a workacholic,is NOT good!I must reprogram myself.
