Pushing 40, Stylishly

Pushing 40, Stylishly

According to USA Today, when it comes to fashion for men over 40, they “need a lot of help!” So, one of their writers takes a trip to Hickey Freeman, a posh men’s clothing store on Manhattan’s 5th Avenue to seek out advice for the guys. Presented in a short video, Freeman’s spokesman for the day takes guidance from good celebrity dressers, focusing on polished looks and elegant suits.

You hear that, guys? No sweat pants and ripped t-shirts. You don’t see George Clooney or Brad Pitt sporting them! If you’d rather run for the hills than go buy an entire new wardrobe, listen up: you don’t need to drop thousands on a closet full of new threads, you really just need some solid classics, like a decent pair of pants (Chinos, perhaps?) and some nice dress shirts.

If you aren’t ready to even add one more item to your rotation of outfits, then what are the staples you stick to now? [USA Today]
