How do I find the right hairdresser and trust that I will not look like a poodle?
I've gone on a whim to random salons to see what they'll do. I'll admit it's probably not the smartest thing to do, but there's somethign about the total unawareness of what will happen that is kinda fun. I got oone of the best haircuts of my life just because i felt like getting my hair washed...and all of a sudden the hairdresser insisted that he trim it up.
One of the best ways to find a great hairdresser is through word of mouth. Take a few weeks to notice your friends' and coworkers' hair. Take particular note of the people who have similar hair texture and face shape to yours. Then just ask some questions! Who does your hair? Does it take you long to style? Do you like your haircut/color/hairdresser? Are they reasonably priced? Ever had a bad experience with your hairdresser? You'll soon have a short list of well-recommended hairdressers to choose from, which is a much better way than going through the phone book for a trial-and-error run!
