Bring Photos!

When I want to change my look, I go through magazines and cut out photos of different hair styles that I think will look good on me. Then, I bring my top three to the salon and ask my stylist for her opinion - she knows better what will work with my hair type. And I make sure to bring back the "winning" photo every time I go for a cut. You can't expect your stylist to remember what kind of cut she gave you the last time you were in her chair (unless you go in every week!).
