Habitat Goes Green
A local Minnesota chapter of Habitat for Humanity is building a green home for a local family. Features to be included are insulated concrete forms, geothermal heating and recycled wood cabinets.
This isn’t the first time the non-profit has built sustainably—green building is taking place in other cities such as Denver, and Habitat is coming to the forefront of the green home movement via their web site, where kids can learn all about green living
Three cheers for Habitat for walking the walk and creating homes that are good for the families they serve as well as the environment! [St. Cloud Times]
