Time to Reflect

Time to Reflect

Some people say that “like attracts like” is one of the steadfast laws of the dating universe. If you’re feeling down and out, chances are you’re going to attract someone else who’s feeling blue. If you’re self confident and energized, you’ll find a mate who is, too.

The next time you’re feeling baffled about your bad luck in finding romance, make a list of all of the qualities you would expect from a potential mate and see if you fulfill them yourself. Here’s a sample, but feel free to make your own:

-Returns phone calls in a reasonable amount of time.
-Doesn’t dominate the conversation.
-Is responsible with finances.
-Is emotionally stable.

If you can’t answer "yes" to all of those prerequisites, it’s going to be difficult to find somebody who will. The good news is, the more you start to love yourself, the sooner you'll find romance with the right person.  [San Luis Obispo]
