Wainy Day Love

Wainy Day Love

Is it true that nice girls are always attracted to jerks? Comedian David Wain examines this common conception in an episode of his hilarious online series “Wainy Days.”

In an episode called “The Pickup,” Wain, who looks a little bit like the guy from Blues Clues, enlists the help of “Alias,” a $1500 dating coach you’ll recognize as actor Paul Rudd dressed up like Mystery, the dating coach from "The Pick Up Artist" on VH1 (or, if you're a fan of pirate movies, he looks more like Captain Jack Sparrow). His technique is anything but conventional.

“Nice hair. What did you buy it, is it real? Horse Hair? Dumb cheap hooker,” he says to a cute blonde who proceeds to engage him in a full-on make out session. She begs for Alias' number and asks him to call her. “Doubt it,”Alias says.

Wain follows suit and tells the next girl he meets that her “hair smells like the carpet in a hallway of an apartment where old Russian people live,” and gets similar results. Watch the five minute clip and you’re guaranteed a few good laughs, but be warned as Mr. Wain and his crew tend to use salty language. [My Damned Channel]
