Question:What is an idea for a romantic dinner I can make for my girlfriend?

She does not really like meat.

How nice of you to ask ... : )

I think you need to start with what she likes. Does she like seafood or fish? You can broil lobster tails or make shrimp scampi. Serve them with spaghetti with garlic and oil or even clam sauce.

If vegetables are more her style I think a pasta primavera is a lovely dish -- colorful, nutritious and delicious. I usually use brocoli, carrots, zucchini, peas, mushrooms and shallots. You can add just about anything.

If meat is more her style, try lamb chops. They can be really yummy and really easy to make. Serve with asparagus and maybe some type of grain, like couscous.

Don't forget her favorite dessert!
