Form a Friendship Wall

runnindownadream

So, I just moved to a new metropolitan city and I'm finding that it's super tough to date because I don't really know all of the rules and culture yet. Also it's not like I have my dad or an older brother around to help me screen them.Luckily, I have two good friends here and we've formed kind of a pact to help each other when we're meeting new guys. We've found that it's better to have six eyeballs than two. So we've sort of come up with a set of ground rules to help weed out the crazies. We don't meet anyone alone for the first time at night, and if we do we'll make it a double date.
There have been times when I have wanted to call a guy or hang out but I didn't because I didn't want to let my girls down. I know this might sound a little bit cliquish, but when you don't have a huge network to count on, it helps!
If you've got a friend or two you can trust, ask if they can help you with your friendship wall. They don't have to approve or think he's a total hunk, but they can help with some added jerk radar.
