One Christian Science Monitor reporter decided to try out a job as a perfume maker in Nantucket, MA, picking from a list that also included being an alpaca rancher, a stained-glass artist and a sports announcer. Though the reporter realizes she has a “nose” for the business, she decides that making perfume just wasn’t her thing.
