Question:What was your dream job when you were a kid?

Has it changed as you've gotten older? I know when I was little I wanted to be on Broadway. After many years of singing I threw in the towel and my preference became writing fiction. Now I guess my dream job would be writer and mommy...wait...that's just what I am!

Answer:

I always envied classmates who knew what they wanted to do (my best friend wanted to be a lawyer and 20 years later she is a lawyer and very happy). I was never that person. Had no idea, but I think there is some fun in this too -- I'm open to thinking about new ways I can "charge my batteries" with a new challenge. It's great you are happy in the moment. Maybe someday you'll want to teacher or own a bookstore (or something more far out -- like a rock climber instructor :)
