The Update on Job Interview
To Kiki76, Carlabeau and runnindownadream, I was called in for a second interview with the Regional Manager. He told me I was one of the three finalist. So, hopefully I will find out this week or the first week of December. My question; Should call back and follow upon the desired positon; Are should just wait? My current job it is a drain on me. Half the time it is not the company it is the people who worked for the company that impacts the morale. No to mention the office politics.

Congratulations Marah and thanks for the update. I think a thank you note as suggested below is a great idea. I also think if you have sent a note, and after a few days of them receiving the note you do not hear back, then a call would be appropriate. The intent of your call could be to "answer any questions" they may have that will help them in reaching their decission. Throw in a compliment too if you have a sincere one. Good Luck!
Hi Marah,
Thanks so much for the update! I'm really excited for you and I hope the employer got the same impression as we did - that you're eager to have a job where you can be of help to others.
I agree with Kiki and Victoria about the thank you note. That's always a great opportunity to keep them thinkin' about ya. Good luck and have a great holiday!
Congrats! Whether you are called into this job or not, it's proof that you are capable and have what it takes to impress! You should feel good regardless of the outcome.
If you did already send a thank you note/email, I'd wait till Dec. 1 to reach out again. It's my experience that no one will make a decision on a holiday weekend. I know you must be on pins and needles, but just try to relax, give thanks for what's been and what's to come.
Hi, marah
I'm sure you'll hear from the other lovely ladies, but my thought is that if you haven't already sent a thank you follow up note expressing your interest, that would be the first step and then I don't think it would be too presumptuous to follow up next week, unless you think a friendly call would be welcome today, in which case I would make it light ... reaffirming your interest, thanking the person for their time and wishing them a healthy and happy holiday.
