Where can I find the best coupons?
I've never been much of coupon cutter, but now I really need to get serious about saving money. Can anyone tell me where I can find some good coupons for groceries, toiletries, etc.? Thanks!
Sometimes buying in bulk pays off if you have the storage space. Freezer wrap and freezer bags go a long way in helping you do this.
Your local paper is a great place to start. The circulars of nearby supermarkets are often in them on the weekends. My advice is to make a list of what you need first so you avoid clipping coupons for stuff you don't need. Also check what is on sale for that week and compare it to what's on your list. If you find any coupon tricks let us know!
Couponcraze.com and Mycoupons.com have a lot of coupons searchable by store. Hope you find them helpful!
One of our Frugal Living experts, Melissa Tosetti cautions "the problem is coupons tend to be for packaged or processed foods."
My advice would be with food items try to shop on sale rather than use coupons for things you might not ordinarily choose as part of your healthy diet.
Check the circular from the store before you head in and keep the inserts from the weekend paper. You can also go to the web sites for the manufacturers of the products you like. They generally have a way for you to sign up for coupons directly.
