Energy Saving Ideas

Eva1873

Came across these tips on saving energy and wanted to share them.

Seal the House-The amount of energy that seeps through leaks in your house is equivalent to leaving a window open all year round, with the AC or heater running. Use caulk and weather stripping.

Get a Programmable Thermostat-it will keep the house the right temperature when you're home and use less energy when away.

New Appliances-if you've been using the same ones for more than 15-20 years, you should upgrade. Old appliances can take more energy. There are new models out there that are energy saving.
