When I write a check...I always round the number up and subtract that amount. For example: If the amount I owe is $23.66 ... I will record that check # for $25.00. This way, I always have a little extra in my account and am less likely to create an overdraft situation. Plus, one year, the extra money in my checking account was enough to pay for 3 Christmas gifts!
