"I wish I had enough words to express what your book has done for me. Thank you over and over. It's like a guidebook to life. When I don't remember how to navigate, or even that I can, it reminds me. What a precious gift."-Deborah

It's All About Downsizing!

“Simplify, simplify, simplify,” Henry David Thoreau once said, and to elaborate, he also stated that, “As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.” Over on the Unclutterer blog, Teri and her husband have decided to downsize their living quarters by moving into a 1200-square foot condo, a 600-square foot decrease from their current residence.

In preparing for the move, their focus is on ridding themselves of clutter and only holding on to the necessities or items that inspire them. In order to efficiently sort through everything, they will be paying rent for both places for one month.

In a society where bigger is so often viewed as better, and the size of one’s house is a measurement of one’s status and success, it’s refreshing to hear a story like this one. How do you feel about the current size of your living space? Have you considered a downsizing move? [Unclutterer]
