"One Bag Travel"

Lately, airport travel has become horrendous, with long lines, delays and unpredictable time tables. Most factors are out of your hands, but one that literally is in your hands is luggage. Checking bags means more waiting time and can potentially lead to that dreaded wait in baggage claim where your bag never appears.

Unclutterer.com writes about a site called One Bag Travel, which is exactly what it sounds like: a blog that illustrates how to travel with one carry-on bag only. One Bag Travel points out that traveling light is advantageous because packing itself will not take forever and you won’t encounter the physical drain of dragging large, unwieldy suitcases everywhere. You will know where everything is (except that Tylenol when you really need it!), and will prioritize the necessities.

The blog covers what you should pack, what kind of luggage is the most effective, and how to go about organizing the contents. Amidst their advice is the simple, yet true quote from Antoine de Saint Exupery: “He who would travel happily must travel light.” Exactly! [Unclutterer.com]
