How do you teach children to be organized?
It seems like a good skill that will benefit them as adults.
"Children learn what they live" Repetition, re-inforcement, make it fun if you can (I tried the Dr. Spock approach with the first two, fourteen years later, with #3, Mary Poppins worked a lot better) and show them what is important by how you live your life. Some children seem to be naturally inclined to be neat and organized whereas others... Most important--always say "I love you" with a big smile at bedtime. That has been my experience, I"m surely not an expert. Hang in there, if it was easy, you would've gotten an answer sooner than 11 days.
