Are you driving more now that gas is cheaper?
A regular gallon of gas is now down to $2.60! I'm curious if people have started driving around more or if you're sticking to your more environmentally friendly ways of using less gas?
In Ohio, ours is $1.89 -- tops. I know, I know ... we lucked out.
But in answer to your question: No, I am not driving more than I was when the prices were higher. I think it is important that we remember that gas is still harmful to the environment on top of the fact that the lower gas prices are not a reflection of the fact that the economy is doing well.
Instead, the lower gas prices are more of a punch in the gut -- this is something the government could have been doing all along!! But they chose to wait until the economy was so dismal and we did not want to drive anymore. They could have helped us out at anytime, but waited until we were so severely feeling the money crunch.
OK ... *end economy frustration here*
