"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

Paperback Recycle

kristen

Love to read, but don't always love buying books as they take up tons of space, cost $ to truck around the country and of course, use up tons of paper.

Just happened upon a cool site called paperbackswap.com that allows users to trade books via mail. The books you receive are yours to keep or put back into the trading pool.

Thanks for posting that website, I have tons of books that I wouldn't mind letting go.

That's a neat find. In my last apartment building any time someone moved out they left a pile of books on the shelf in the hall. It was like an unofficial trading library. I took one now and again and when I moved out I did the same. I can't bear to throw books away, but you're right. It's not always worth toting them around with you.
