Pretty Keen Job Outlook

As you get closer to college graduation, you may be a bit shaken by all the grim economic news that has been out recently. You may also be wondering if there will be a job out there for you.

According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, you might not have to worry so much. Its recent survey claimed that employers plan to hire 16% more college graduates around the country than in 2007, and some even expect to dole out higher than usual starting salaries. Some analysts chalk this up to the fact that many baby boomers will be retiring in the coming years, and companies are anxious to replace the brainpower they are losing.

Of course, that doesn’t mean you can coast for the next month and wait for recruiters to come to you. Get a jump start on your job application and check out our top 5 things to do for graduating colleges students. [Green Bay Press Gazette]
