Is it too late to make amends?
I still feel grief and sadness over the loss of a friendship many years ago (ten, to be exact.) So much of what happened was my fault; I was young and insensitive. Is it too late to try to reach out to this person and at least have closure? Perhaps then I can move on.
It's never too late. I had a horrible blow up with my father when I was younger and we didn't speak for almost 10 years...and it took that long to have the courage to fix things. My relationship with both my parents is better now because I made the effort.
You should give it a try. At least then you know you tried. I have a feeling that your friend might have the same feelings, so talking about it or reaching some closure might help both of you.
Good luck!
It's never too late, but you have to be realistic about your expectations as there is a chance you might not even get a response.
