Is a new stimulus package needed?
I've been hearing talk that the government wants to give everyone a new round of cash to stimulate the economy, but I'm not convinced that people will rush to blow that cash and instead put it in bank accounts! What do you think? Would a tax rebate check help things?
Yes a new stimulus is needed,that money was for to put back into the encomey,but if you owe childsupport or owed the Federal Government they took the money so what was there to put back into the econ.A little money is better than nothing why only $400.00
Why get the country in more debt now so future generations can pay it off, it was living beyond everybodies needs that caused this problem now, and the greed of senior executives, chrysler was bailed out thirty years ago now wants to be bailed out again. NO I think some pain needs to be felt.
I don't think another round of stimulus checks is what this country needs. I believe that some of the things they're talking about DOING instead of giving cash would be beneficial, such as:
waiving RMD's for those over 70 1/2 on their 401(k) and IRAs
investing in infrastructure projects to create new jobs
There were a few others I thought were decent, but all in all, I don't think we need another stimulus package.
