Do the Dishes, Do the Deed
When faced with trying to improve their sex lives , many people turn to fantasy roleplay, new positions or toys. But what if you could make things better in the bedroom by doing a little something in the kitchen?
No...we’re not suggesting going at it on the counter (though we’re not downplaying such fun either.) A new report from the Council of Contemporary Families suggests that doing routine housework might improve one’s sex life. The thought is that when men help our more around the house, women are happier—and thus more likely to want to be intimate. The findings seem a bit antiquated, but it’s not unlikely that any couple that shares the duties of the household would be less stressed and therefore enjoy a happier, healthier home life.
So ladies and gentlemen, lend each other a hand around the house. The benefits of doing so might surprise you! [Yahoo News ]
This is so true. It's much easier to be in the mood once the table has been cleared and the dirty dishes haved been washed (and the children are off to sleep). And all the better if you are not the one who had to do it all. One major caveat, though, would-be helpers... it has to be done right. Washing the dishes is only helpful if they don't need to be re-washed, so make sure you do it well. The best approach may be to say, "I can't wait to have you all to myself. What else needs to be done?" That ought to go miles farther than sitting on the couch watching TV and waiting for your partner to finish up the daily chores.
