Kids and Spirituality

According to new research conducted at the University of British Colombia, spirituality makes up a significant portion of children's level of happiness—much more so than adults, in fact. It’s important to note, the researchers describe spirituality as an inner belief system not necessarily connected to religion. Parents can encourage their children's spirituality simply by emphasizing in daily life how important it is to be thankful and by helping their children point out the happy things that happened to them each day.
