Working Hard for the Money

If you’ve lost your job, it’s hard not to listen to news reports that the economy is tanking and we’re going to be in a Depression that will be worse than it was in the 1930s. The truth is there are still plenty of jobs out there right now, you just have to look for them.

Careerbuilder.com has put together a list of 10 jobs that pay at least $20 an hour that will be in demand through 2016. A few of them include:

  • Health Educators. Their salary rate is about $22 an hour, and your job would be to educate people about living healthier.
  • Subway and Streetcar Operators. Their salary rate is about $22 an hour, and who wouldn’t love to relive their childhood dreams and drive a train!
  • Museum Curators. The salary is around $24 an hour, and you get to take care of artifacts, gardens, historic sites, etc.
  • Gaming Supervisors. They earn about $20 an hour and make sure no one is cheating on the gambling tables.

Of course you may need some additional training to get one of these jobs, but imagine how much happier you would be as a museum curator or teaching people about their health while raking in the dough. We bet it’s almost looking like your dream job.  [CNN.com]
