Gibson, along with Hollywood heavyweights Martin Sheen and Holly Hunter are among those who believe members of the Screen Actor's Guild should vote on a measure that could lead to a walk-out, while actors like Devito and David Duchovny are against it.
Those in favor of the strike believe that actors are being cheated out of portions of the proceeds from DVD sales while the other side believes a strike could be devastating for many people during this economic downturn.
Many people are still feeling the affects of last year's writers' strike and an actors' strike could potentially affect many more people. However, everyone deserves his or her fair share of profits. How would you vote if you were in SAG?
