Moving to Green Spaces

A lot of factors go into deciding to move to a new city, and “greenness” is yet another one to add to the list. More and more, the news is full of stories about the current food crisis, global warming, energy costs and environmental problems. Thus, it would be next to impossible to disregard these issues when considering a big move.
 
Country Home Magazine put together a list of the "379 Best Green Cities in America" based on the above issues, with relatively unknown Corvallis, OR coming in at #1 and very well-known Portland taking the #2 slot. The West and Midwest comprise the top 32 cities, but Boston comes in at #49, Washington D.C. at #102, and New York at #103.
