HHi, I live in a suburb of Seattle. It's a beautiful area. The cost of living is probably higher than where you are now. Apartments in the outlying areas range from about $850+ for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment. Some people rent large houses with roommates to share the expense. Washington state has the highest minimum wage in the country- $9.17 per hour. There are many industries here- Boeing, Microsoft, Starbucks. The weather is wonderful during the summer and fall- moderate temperatures but it does rain a lot in the winter and spring and even snow sometimes. Think of why you want to go and why you want to stay where you are and see which feels stronger.
