Get on the Bus!

runnindownadream

Every time I move to a new city I make sure to jump some form of public transportation. I have a car, but there's something about getting on a bus or metro that allows you to see a new city from an insider's perspective. Most of the time you can just hop right back on and go back the same way you came. So far I haven't gotten lost.

I'm the same way. I commuted to work on the bus for two years just because I didn't want to drive. The commute by car was only 15 minutes so it wasn't bad at all but there is something about public transportation that I enjoy.

People think I am crazy out here in KY but I grew up taking buses and trains in the burbs on NYC. It is the easiest way to get around. Plus you don't have to worry about your vehicle being stolen, hit or ticketed. Not only that but you are also helping the environment. Out here in KY they have some Hybrid buses. Its sweet!

Unfortunately recently I picked up my drea job that was not easy to use public transportation to get to so I bought a scooter. I will still hop in the bus on the weekend to go out to dinner.
