Fourth Time's the Smarm

Alison Smith has nothing in common with the runaway bride. The 24-year-old Scotland native has already been married three times and recently walked down the aisle for a fourth time.

“Her first husband ran off with her mum after just 10 days, her second was a last minute stand-in for a fiancée who jilted her and the third was a bigamist,” reports the Scottish Sunday Mail newspaper.

She claims her fourth husband—a guy who readily admitted to cheating on her while they were engaged—is her true prince. Instead of planning a wedding, Smith should have been taking a step back and looking at what’s making her continue to choose these jerks over and over again. With a little self-esteem boost, she would likely give her new jerk the boot as well.
