Take your time and plan well!!

I became engaged on Feb. 22nd, 2008. I have our wedding planned for September 25th, 2010. Everyone asks me "why so far away"? My answer, we need to save money, and we need to get to know one another better. Granted, we have been together for 3 years, and I know him pretty well, and he knows me. But everyday, we both learn something new about one another.
I was married once, and I did it after 8 months of meeting him, obviously, it was too soon, and we are divorced now. The greatest thing that came from that union, our son. He is 9 now, and so big. I have had to really push for his dad to become a part of his life and these last 2 years, it has gotten better. He is "somewhat" involved, but I have to remind him of things that he has promised him.

So, take your time, get to know one another, and right now all I am sure you are wanting to do is walk run down that aisle, but Take Your Time. If he/she loves you today, they will love you tomorrow.
